This is the website for the Brisbane City Council.  It provides information on Queensland.  This site can be useful in so many ways, it provides information about Brisbane, the council and the services offered.

Queensland Retail Traders and Shopkeepers Association is a not for profit association.  The QRTSA is dedicated to supporting the independent business person, they answer queries and provide assistance on a wide range of topics. Membership is not free.

Queensland's Rural Women's Network is designed to help women in the country rural regions.  This site is aimed at helping rural women further develop themselves.   It does not necessarily focus solely on business related matters, however it does provide great networking opportunities.

This site is titled, State Development & Innovation.  The Queensland Government has developed this site to assist business and industries within Queensland and aid their economic development.  I found the site very user friendly it contains some key information about starting an at home business, growing your business and is an excellent source for resources and contacts.

This website is for the Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries for Queensland (DPI&FQ). This site provides advice on trade and export.   DPI&F is working to improve Queensland's primary industries by increasing competitiveness, productivity, innovation and access to markets. If you are a Qld based business looking to export this site would be of interest.

Queensland Chamber of Commerce & Industry.  Commerce Queensland, a non-Government organization, is the State's leading business association, and delivers a broad range of services and represents business interests to government at all levels. It will cost to join this organization, memberships ranging in prices.

Women's Network Australia is a membership-based organization that empowers and encourages women to reach their full potential in business.  This website is mainly focused on networking activities and promotion.  Nevertheless it is still a good website to visit.
