Generating ideas and being innovative are important contributors to business success. Research has shown that innovation, when properly managed, can produce a higher rate of return than many other forms of investment. The NSW Government is committed to advancing innovation and provides assistance to promote the adoption of innovation in business.
Hunter Innovation Advisory Centre Australia
Innovation & Technology AustraliaTM is an initiative of the Industry Development Centre (Hunter) Ltd (IDC), a not-for-profit business service organisation established by the Australian Government in 1992. The centre specialises in innovation services which it delivers throughout Australia. Services are provided in three main areas including education, evaluation and commercialisation many of which are supported by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development.
The NIC is a privately-owned consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. They offer confidential advise in the commercialisation of intellectual property (IP) on a fee for service basis.
