Department of  Foreign Affairs and Trade.  You may wish to use this website to familiarize yourself with the trading policies & regulations of overseas countries.

www.aqis.gov.au
This is the website for the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS). AQIS is Australia's first line of defense, protecting our unique environment against exotic pests and diseases. You could use this site to check the regulations and laws governing the type of product you may wish to import.  This is a helpful site, for expanding on your knowledge of the laws relating to the importation of products into Australia.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is a part of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. The TGA carries out a range of assessment and monitoring activities to ensure therapeutic goods available in Australia are of an acceptable standard with the aim of ensuring that the Australian community has access, within a reasonable time, to therapeutic advances.  If you were using vitamins or any other type of substance such as a chemical, in the production of your product or service you should contact the TGA to ensure you have the appropriate approvals to produce your product or service.

The Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) scheme is the Australian Government’s principal financial assistance program for aspiring and current exporters. The scheme is administered by Austrade and is aimed at encouraging small and medium sized Australian businesses to develop export markets. This is a fantastic site providing assistance on the topic of exportation.

The Australian Customs site contains a number of PDF's which clearly explain the process of importing and exporting goods to and from  Australia.  If you are considering importing / exporting any kind of product then I suggest you visit this site.
